Kato's Rocklog: Stardate: May 16, 2009 Hey everybody! I'm back home but not slowing down one bit. Bhive has been prepping
for a big show and mini-tour out in Indiana in a few weeks. The show at Lafayette Theater is getting bigger by the minute.
Word of mouth has already sold half the theater out and the radio spots haven't even started yet. We're hoping for a
sellout. Exciting news on the Britny Fox front too. We've added a few more shows.
We'll be hitting West Springfield, VA on May 29th to play JAXX. The next night we'll be at Mac's Bad Art Bar in Syracuse.
Don't let the low key name fool you. This is an awesome venue and I'm really looking forward to playing there.
And really exciting news about May 31st. Anyone who has been following this blog probably is aware we're playing a big
hometown show at The Crazy Donkey in Farmingdale, NY with Tyketto. It's an all ages show and tix are being sold for $12
each, but here's the really cool part - as a thank you to all my friends and fans who've been following my Rocklog, if
you sign my guestbook and provide me with a snail mail address, I'll hook you up with free tix for the Donkey show.
The free tickets ARE limited so make sure you sign up today. It's first come first served.

Kato's Rocklog: Stardate: May 12, 2009 We're back home now after finishing the first leg of the tour. Thursday night we played at
the Hard Rock Cafe in Pittsburgh. I had no idea how nice Pittsburgh is. Like all Hard Rocks, the club was beautiful
and the part of town it's located in is definitely worth a visit. The last night of the
tour was the best show. The crew working at Lakeview Manor in Fulton, NY is great. The place was completely
packed and the show went very smoothly. The fans were the most intense and knew every song word for word.
The venue is large and very well run. They even provided security for us with a crew who are very good at their
jobs. Thanks guys! Now we'll be on a break for a few weeks then it's back out to
Virginia and working our way up to Long Island for a killer show at the Crazy Donkey on May 31st. All you NYers better
come out and say hi! It's going to be our last medium-sized show before we start hitting the bigger summer festivals
like Rocklahoma in July. In the meantime, I'm really looking forward to getting back
to my original band, Bhive. Johnny, Joe Mama, Ray, Mikey Bobo and I are coming your way soon. You might come to
a Bhive show as a stranger, but EVERYONE leaves as a fan. It's IMPOSSIBLE not to have a great time at a Bhive
show. Be sure to check us out!!! www.myspace.com/bhive We'll be playing a massive show in Lafayette, Indiana in June and the Fred Stock festival in Fredericksburg, VA at
the end of June.

Kato's Rocklog: Stardate: May 7, 2009 Oh boy, oh boy! I really wanted to keep up with this site every day but life on the road is very
busy. We've been all over the place. We played a show at Vnuks in Cudahy, WI and met some very cool people.
The people working at Vnuks were pro all the way and I want to say hey to Mike and Brian - sorry guys, I wanted to put our
pic up but it came out pretty dark! The crowd was heavy duty into the show and that was fun. Special, special
thanks to Velvet Dog - the V.D. you wanna have - bringing decadence to rock! Taj and crew were freaking way cool and
if you get a chance, you must see them. Check out their website www.myspace.com/velvetdogmusic or www.velvetdogmusic.com From there we stopped by Lake Michigan to check it out - amazing it looks
like an ocean - and then headed over to Jamie's hometown for a little "Happy Birthday Mom" time.
For anyone who doesn't know, fun fact about Jamie - he is a KICK ASS chef and he loves cilantro! Cinco
de Mayo was cool at our show in Cheektowaga, NY at Rock N Roll Heaven and then it was over to Pittsburgh. But since
we were down the block from it, we had to make a stop at Niagara Falls. It was one of the most amazing things I've
ever seen. Tonight we're playing a sold out show at the Hard Rock Cafe.

Kato's Rocklog: Stardate: STILL May 1, 2009 Just have a quick update on two things....Tomorrow we'll be calling into WHPC 90.3 the Hairhut with JT Cane
in the NY area. We've been checking in from the road weekly at 12:15 on Saturdays but please note that this Saturday
we'll be calling in at 11:15! Also, check out www.sonofapreacher.spaces.live.com Brett is this very cool dude we met this week and he's an expert on music. He wrote a great article
about us and has some incredible pics posted on his site. He's a really good guy out to support music and musicians.
Check his site out.

Kato's Rocklog: Stardate: May 1, 2009 Okay, I'm a little more awake now and can tell you about the last few days! On Wednesday
we were in Kansas City, MO. We were getting ready to play the Riot Room when in walks mega-metal band, Lamb of God.
The guys apparently are big Britny Fox fans and after putting on their own killer show in MO, came out to watch our show.
Chris Adler and all the guys are great. We were so glad they came to see us and we had a blast hanging out with them.
We wish them the best of luck on the rest of their tour and with the new album "Wrath"!
Yesterday we were in Greenville, WI. We've been treated really well everywhere we've stopped on this tour,
but major props go out to the "Brothers Extraordinaire" over at Route 15. They treated us like kings.
They run an incredible club and the food is just ridiculous! If you're ever in the area, be sure to order
the Britny Fox wrap - a new menu item created just for us and 100% endorsed by the band! If you like steak, your mouth
will thank you. The show was pretty damn rockin too. Real rock fans live in Wisconsin for sure!
Right now we're on the road heading to The Symposium in Lakewood, Ohio. We have a show tonight and we should just
about make it to town about an hour before soundcheck. We're jumping time zones today and hoping to get there
without being late.

Kato's Rocklog: Stardate: April 30, 2009 Exhausted right now! We've had a rip-roaring few days. Tuesday night we played The
Reverb in Iowa and the next morning we got on the road and drove 6 or 7 hours to get to the Riot Room in Missouri.
Right after the show we got back on the road and have been driving ever since. We're on our way to Route 15 in Greenville,
WI. Time to catch some zzzs but I wanted to say hey to Brett, Sara and some of the other great people we met the last
few days. Big shoutout to Chad Brandolini at Vater for hooking me up with some more drumsticks.
Check out the new pics I posted. Got some great shots coming in from fans at the Las Vegas show too. Starting
to see some postings on YouTube.

Kato's Rocklog: Stardate: April 27, 2009 It was a very busy weekend for us. Friday night we played Knickerbocker's in Lincoln, Nebraska.
We had a chance to get to know some fans before and after the show. Hi Lisa, Lisette and Anissa! Lisette was very
busy snapping pics of us during the show and I think she's posted some concert footage on Youtube.
After Nebraska, it was back on the road to Salina, Kansas. Greg and I called in to talk to JT Cane at the Hair Hut on
WHPC 90.3 in New York and we announced another big date coming up on our tour at the Crazy Donkey in NY on May 31st with Tyketto
and Bottoms Up as our openers. That's going to be a kickass show. Saturday
night we played the Blue Goat in Salina. It was a great show - very tight. The crowd who came out in Kansas
were some of the most intense fans we've had yet. Really cool. This afternoon we're
saying goodbye for now to Kansas and heading over to Iowa. Tomorrow night we'll be playing the Reverb in Waterloo.

Kato's Rocklog: Stardate: April 24, 2009 The tour is fully under way now and we're feeling our groove. Last night's show was great.
We were into it, the crowd was into it and the vibe was electric. One thing I'm seeing for sure is that no matter
what the economy is like, no matter where you live, people want to have a good time and rock out.
Yesterday we walked around town at this big outdoor wine festival that was going on. It was very cool. Lots of
people were hanging out, the weather was beautiful and live music in the street is always a good thing. After our time
at T-95 radio station, we were treated to a great meal and had a chance to rest up. Thanks so much to everyone in Kansas
for all the hospitality! This morning we're hitting the road to Lincoln, Nebraska.
Tonight we have a show at Knickerbockers in Lincoln. Can't wait to get back on the stage!

Kato's Rocklog: Stardate: April 23, 2009 We drove through some of the most intense weather I have ever seen in my life coming into Kansas last night.
It looked like something out of a movie. We watched as blue skies were over us and a storm rolled in. There are
such wide, open spaces you can see for miles. It was incredible. I'm posting some pics I snapped while
we were driving but even they can't do justice to what we were in the middle of. Jamie was able to get some video
footage of severe lightning strikes. Just NUTS!! Today we're going over
to the radio station to hang out and have some fun and we'll be playing America's Pub in Wichita tonight.

Kato's Rocklog: Stardate: April 22, 2009Last night we played a show at Hiccups III in Denver, Colorado. It was a nice club with more of a local vibe.
Turnout was pretty good for a Tuesday night and it was a good chance for us to play together again. Each time we hit
the stage we're getting tighter. Hanging out on the road is giving a chance to throw around some musical ideas too.
We're spending some time saying hi at the local Guitar Center this afternoon and then it's
back to the road. We're making our way over to Kansas today and then tomorrow we'll be taking over a radio station
and co-hosting. That's gonna be a blast.

Kato's Rocklog: Stardate: April 21, 2009We decided to hang in Vegas for another full day and milk it for all it was worth. Vegas is awesome and the Santa Fe
was a very cool hangout. We headed out last night and saw an amazing sunset as we passed through Utah. Some
areas looked like we had landed on Mars. So different from NY. We drove through the night and pulled into Colorado
early this morning. Gonna catch some zzz's and get ready for tonight's show at Hiccups III in Denver.

Kato's Rocklog: Stardate: April 19, 2009 Last night's show kicked ass. The Chrome Room at the Santa Fe Station is beautiful.
The sound system is top notch and the support crew worked their butts off. I can't say enough nice things about
all the people who helped make our jobs that much more fun. Fritz you ROCK! For our first
night of the tour, all went really well. Many people would find it hard to believe that it was only our 3rd time playing
together - INCLUDING rehearsals. It was a sign of great things to come. I have a feeling that we are going to
be blowing the doors off the rooms we play by the end of the tour. The crowd was awesome. Judging by the reception
we got last night, one thing is really clear - people love Britny Fox, they want more and they want it LOUDER!!!!
Today we're just chillin in Las Vegas. Tomorrow we head out and make our way over to Denver, Colorado.

Kato's Rocklog: Stardate: April 17, 2009Last night we got stuck in dam Hoover dam traffic on our drive over from Phoenix. We're settled into the Santa Fe
Station casino/hotel in Las Vegas now. After a full day of traveling we were STARVING last night and decided to
go out on the town for a bite and to check out what was going on. Later today we're having a few hours of rehearsal
to get ready for the kickoff show tomorrow night with Pretty Boy Floyd.

Kato's Rocklog: Stardate: April 16, 2009I landed in Phoenix, Arizona about an hour ago. Jamie and Greg have been hanging out here since last night, taking
in the local sights. It's beautiful and sunny right now but not nearly as hot as I thought it would be. Then
again, it's only April. Wonder what hot in Arizona is like in the middle of August.

Kato's Rocklog: Stardate: April 15, 2009The countdown is on. I am doing all the last minute running around getting ready for the big tour with Britny
Fox. Greg and Jamie have already arrived in Arizona and will be picking me up at the Phoenix airport tomorrow
morning.
Right now the mood around here is exciting and a little nerve-wracking. There are a lot of
details to take care of to keep life functioning smoothly at the home base while I tour the country. It's
all good though. We've worked a LONG time for this and the future looks great. I am really looking forward
to playing in many places I've never played before and getting the chance to rock out with some truly talented musicians:
Billy, Greg and Jamie.
See you on the road!!
